Okay, gonna explain this as smart as I can.
Step one: Person A writes what happens. Think of it as the caption on a Homestuck page. Then they add some options (up to five) for the next person to choose. Think of those as the links to click on for the next Homestuck page, except there can be more than one.
Step two: Person B chooses ONE (or two, I guess, however you wanna incorporate things) of the options from Person A's options and writes the caption-thing for that. Then Person B adds his/her own options for the next person to choose and write from so that the story continues.
Step three: Person D (Or C, or whoever I don't even care just anyone) then picks an option from Person B's post, writes a caption, writes options, etc. So on and so forth.
Step four: ???
Step five: PROFIT!
Basically, the main goal is to have a fun create-your-own adventure-esque thing, whether it be serious or silly or stupid or whatever. The main goal is fun.
Rule one: There are no rules because I am too lazy to write them right now.
Rule zero: I changed my mind. This is a rule that there is no rule about taking turns. As long as no one's writing with themself or excluding anyone else, it's all good. *too freakin' impatient to wait*
AND HERE WE GO. WHERE MAKING THIS HAPPEN.
Your name is JOHN EGBERT, it is your tenth BIRTHDAY and you are flying your green-ghost KITE in an extremely whimsical fashion. So whimsical, in fact, that you begin to expect something whimsically senseless to happen, aaaaannnyyyy minute now.
John: Quickly retrieve arms from underneath slide.
John: Run around with kite and make airplane noises.
Future Karkat: Use the Butterfly Effect to troll John’s kite-flying adventures.
